Kids for Kids Annual Hockey Tournament

Last weekend I was able to provide photography services for a very large hockey tournament here in Kingston.  The Kids for Kids Hockey Tournament which is put on for the Kingston University Hospitals Foundation and the Boys and Girls Clubs in Kingston.  Nearly 185 hockey teams ranging from Novice to Bantam/Midget took part in the tournament.

I was located at the Kinsmen/Cataraqui Ice rink, where we were able to get some excellent photographs of these kids going to battle over the puck.  What an experience this was!  Participating in this size of an event proved to be quite the task with regards to organization, setup of our computers, and printing on the spot.  However the best part of this experience had to be the faces of the kids and the parents when they saw the slide shows of each game we had photographed.  In light of all the planning, expenses and lack of sleep in order to photograph this tournament, these reactions from the kids were more then worth it.

For all the parents, friends and families that were at the tournament, here is a link to the site hosting the photos of the tournament.  It is password protected so please contact me to get the password

Enough of the talking, here are a few of the images we gathered over the three days of the tournament, CHEERS!
