We're Expecting

Hello everyone, if you follow us on our blog or facebook page for Scourse Photography you know that we haven't made any posts lately mainly because of the holiday season.  If you do follow us please have your friends check out our website http://www.scoursephotography.com/ or on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scourse-Photography/205623886128889 .   We haven't been too busy with photography work but steady enough considering the holiday season and all.  I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas.  Ours was quiet but we had a great time with friends and family, although it would have been nice if we had a little snow that day.  I think that this is the first christmas that I can remember where we didn't get any snow.

Now, I would like to announce that my lovely wife, Kristin, and I are expecting our second little one in March.  When we were expecting with our first(Riley) we had just purchased our Nikon and didn't know too much about photography.  This time however we decided to jump at the opportunity to do some nice maternity photos and they turned out pretty good. The weather was beautiful and a little chilly however Kristin was a real champ.  So without further adieu, here are the photos.  Cheers,

Fall Family Fun in the Park

I haven't been very good with keeping up in the blogging department because we've been very busy with work, family life, getting things done around the house and well photographing many families and couples. 

So with that, here is an update of a family I was fortunate to photograph this past October.  We played with the weather and in the end the sun decided to show its face and allowed for some really nice photos.   I had a lot of fun spending time with Jay, Kristi, Finn and Abby. Yvette and Trevor - I DO

On July 29th we had lots and lots of rain, and I was to photograph an outside wedding for a wonderful couple.  Well, lets just say, mother nature was good to us.  On route to the location the rain started to let up, by the time the ceremony on the lake was finished, the rain stopped.  Then, just when we started to do family photos, the sun started peeking through the clounds, it gave us a wonderful source of soft light. 
I had a great time working with the happy couple, we had some fun, and grabbed some wonderful photos of their day.  Thank you Yvette and Trevor for allowing me to be part of your wedding day, may your honeymoon never end... Enjoy!
